here come some little guys

mason’s hummingbirds

The day we left for the hospital to deliver Mason, this nest in our side yard had two little eggs in it. When we returned 48 hours later, a pair of featherless chicks had hatched. Just three weeks later and mom was gone and the two chicks were up and perched on the side of the nest, ready to head out on their own. This photo shows them a day before they left the nest for good.
